Ceramic Insulated Nozzle Heater

 

Application:
SPH-heaters are mainly used as nozzle heaters in the plastics industries. But it is liked to use SPH-heaters also in the chemical industry, for special machinery and laboratory device.

Construction:
Heating conductors made of high quality resistance materials embedded into a special ceramic with highest thermal properties.

The insulation of the heater is made of high quality special ceramic with 0 % absorption of moisture;electric strength (disruptive breakdown) is over 1.500 Volts. Opposite to hygroscopic heaters with MgO-or ZrO- insulation SPH- heaters the aditional use of a foil packaging or a drying agent is not necessary. Therefore handling and storing is much more easy.

The inner surface of the heater is absolutely plain and round and fits perfectly to the surface to be heated. This results in a nearly lossless heat transfer

The SPH is flexible an easy to mount.Dismounting or retightening is possible without difficulty.

The thickness of the heaters is just 6.5 mm.

The production is made in accordance to the relevant DIN VDE resp. IEC - regulations and also to works standard specifications of the leading machinery and plastic producers.

Construction:

SPH ceramic nozzle heaters are available beginning from a diameter of 25 mm and a width of 15 mm in all dimensions.
From a width of 19 mm on a plasticproof hole for a thermocouple or similar is possible.
Furthermore,constructions with integrated thermocouple to sense the temperature at the inner side of the heater are deliverable.
Wiring can be made with blank ends, sleeves,flat connectors, spezial connectors.
4 radial and 1 axial connections are available as standard; other connections on request.
